Hi there, My name is Chester. I am a hound mix boy who came in as a stray to the shelter. I am a very nice looking boy with kind of a Pointer shaped head and an All American rest of my body. I am an active boy with lots of energy and desire to be outside. I'm not too crazy about being around other dogs. I have enough enthusiasm companionship to be a one dog family. I am fully housetrained and do not chew things up inappropriately. I have been walked on a leash, and even though I do pull some, if you work with me and have some patience, I calm down and can walk quite nicely. I really do love the outdoors and I'm hoping I can find someone who will want to spend lots of time outside with me. I think I might like hunting...but the most important thing is that I get to spend time with you and my family.
